My husband Arnold and I live in
southeastern Oklahoma. I have a B.S. Degree in Business Education
from the University of Oklahoma and an M.S. in Human Resources Administration
from East Central University. I also am a
Licensed Practical Nurse. I began
writing in high school. It is my most
enjoyable skill and has served me well over the years. I particularly like making websites as it
allows me to be creative.
A few years ago I became interested in
genealogy and met David Montgomery in 2007 on line. He helped me out several
times getting pictures of my relatives’ monuments in Richardson Cemetery
in Waterloo, AL.
David was considering putting all his work on line. I encouraged him. I decided to help him and his wife Martha by
making this website as I thought they had done a tremendous job in voluntarily
enumerating a large number of cemeteries in Alabama
and Tennessee. Their selfless service to their fellow
citizens really impressed me. I wanted
to be a part of the important work they are doing. I made
this website in 2008. David continues to
maintain it.
I have been making websites since
2000. My first website was Brainwavz,
a personal, inspirational site that told how my husband overcame an
“inoperable” brain tumor.
There are other great stories on the site about friends and others who
were also cured of potentially terminal or incapacitating conditions. I made two websites at my former employer’s
at Oklahoma State University
Extension Office.
My latest website is a genealogy
website for my family and my sister’s, my husband’s family, and my
sister’s husband’s family called Genealogy. It has been a labor of
love and discovery.
